Outdoor folding chairs with ergonomic support

Got back pain when you sit? Finally, a solution to your problems!

As a clinical musculoskeletal physiotherapist with 25 years experience, I understand first-hand how ongoing lower back pain and dysfunction can affect your quality of life. It can influence how you socialise with friends, how and when you work and how often you are able to participate in activities that keep you fit and healthy. A common complaint made to me by my clients is how uncomfortable they are when they are sitting. So, here is the advice that I give to them and perhaps it be able to help you a little too. When you are sitting, sit right back against the backrest of the chair. If you can, relax when you are sitting and allow this backrest to support your spine. Try to avoid sitting up too rigidly and upright as this often leads to spinal pain and fatigue. Place your feet onto the ground or a footrest to further unload your spine and most importantly, stand up every 30 minutes to keep your joints active and muscles engaged. Often relaxing when you sit, as long as your back is against the backrest and your feet are on the ground, is more conducive to a healthy spine than attempting to sit in a rigid upright position. Luckily, the Captain chair has you completely covered. The lumbar curves in her lightweight frame allow your lower back to relax in a beautiful position whilst you sit. She also has an awesome footrest which will keep your spine, hips and knees relaxed and so happy. So remember, when it comes to sitting pretty - you need to relax your lower back against the backrest, keep your feet on the ground, stand every 30 minutes and test out a Captain chair if you can! Happy sitting everyone!
